Medical City Healthcare seeks an experienced RN CVICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead cardiovascular ICU operations. In this advanced nursing role, you will oversee high-acuity cardiac and post-surgical patients, guide bedside staff, and collaborate with physicians to ensure excellent outcomes. You will manage staffing, patient flow, and adherence to evidence-based protocols while actively participating in quality and safety initiatives. Lead and coordinate clinical operations for the CVICU, ensuring safe, evidence-based patient care
Supervise and mentor RN staff, supporting professional development and competency in cardiovascular critical care
Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes
Oversee patient flow, staffing, and bed management to maintain appropriate acuity and nurse-patient ratios
Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols, and patient safety programs
Provide direct bedside care to high-acuity cardiovascular and post-cardiac surgery patients as needed
Analyze clinical and operational data to support decision-making and process improvement
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements
Participate in staff education, skills training, and competency validation for CVICU practices and equipment
Serve as a clinical resource for complex cardiovascular cases, acting as a role model for best practices
