Critical Care PA Locums - Louisiana, No Call or Nights

Join a high-acuity CTICU team near New Orleans; day shifts only, no call, and travel fully covered.

Highlights

• 7a-7p shifts only, no nights, no call
• ECMO and transplant exposure
• Ongoing blocks or PRN available

Practice Setting

• Inpatient-only CTICU at an academic center
• Supported by hospitalists, cardiac surgeons, and intensivists
• Adult patient population
• EPIC charting system

Schedule

• Full-time, PRN, or 7-on/7-off coverage
• Minimum 1-week commitment
• Manage 8-10 patients per shift, 1-2 admits daily
• Daily admit duties alternate with other teams

Cases and Procedures

• ECMO and transplant (heart/lung)
• Vent management, central and arterial line placement required
• Must be confident handling high-acuity patients independently

Requirements

• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• Louisiana license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Travel Accommodations
